The Pre-qualifications, Bids and Awards Committee (PBAC) invites prospective bidders to submit applications to pre-qualify in bidding to finance, design, develop, operate, and maintain the Civil Registry System-Information Technology Project II (CRS-ITP2). The CRS-ITPS is a successor project to CRS-ITP implemented in 2000. It will involve the computerization of the civil registry operations of the PSA and is designed to collect, access, store, maintain and manage civil registry documents and the specimen signatures of all city/municipal civil registrars using imaging technology. The CRS-ITP2 will also include production of vital statistics and makes the civil registry services available nationwide through the CRS outlets and other authorized partners.
The Project will be awarded through a competitive public bidding, as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project, in accordance with Republic Act No. 6975 as amended by Republic Act No. 7718 (The Philippine BOT Law), its implementing Rules and Regulations and other applicable laws, through the BTO contractual arrangement.
