As part of its mandate to champion PPPs in the Philippines, the PPP Center strategically implements its capacity building program by enabling and empowering various implementing agencies and other stakeholders to undertake viable PPP projects through targeted and customized trainings.
Apart from in-person capacity building activities (CBAs), the Capacity Building Division (CBD) also employs other training modalities for its trainings such as webinars, online capacity building activities (OCBAs), hybrid trainings, and self-paced e-Learning modules.
The PPP Center, with its capacity building mandate to enable implementing agencies (IAs) and other PPP stakeholders to pursue PPP projects, will conduct a series of capacity building activities (CBAs) anchored on the Republic Act No. 11966 or the PPP Code of the Philippines, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). The initiative is in line with the need to cascade information on the PPP Code and its IRR, as the new PPP legal framework after its signing on December 5, 2023, publication on December 8, 2024, and effectivity on December 23, 2023, as well as its IRR being signed on March 21, 2024, published on March 22, 2024 and becoming effective on April 6, 2024.
These CBAs are free of charge but participants are required to accomplish the registration forms and other training requirements. Some CBAs will require participants to accomplish outputs.
