The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center capacitates the Local Government of Davao City, emphasizing the significance of the PPP initiative in realizing local developmental goals.
Members of Davao City’s PPP Board and Technical Secretariat attended the two-day orientation workshop in PPP Center from July 14-15, 2015.
They were provided an overview of the Philippine PPP Program and its legal framework, PPP Center’s various services, and an introduction to basic PPP concepts and processes from project development to actual implementation.
On the second day, the participants visited the Mandaluyong Public Market undertaken through PPP contract and the Department of Science and Technology- Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC) for an orientation of its monorail technology, Automated Guide-way Transit System (AGT).
