ADB and the Secretariat of the Development Partners Network on Decentralization and Local Governance (DeLog) organized a 3-day event on Localizing Global Agendas. The focus of the forum was on localizing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Asia and Pacific region with a particular focus on the urban goal SDG11 and the climate goal SDG13. Other SDGs such as SDGs 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnerships) were also addressed as cross-cutting themes.
Cities Development Initiative for Asia (CDIA)and PPP Center spoke on localizing SDG 11 particularly shared some approaches to close the capacity gap by supporting organizational learning in and between local governments.
