The PPP Center, through Project Evaluation Division (PED), is primarily tasked to facilitate the appraisal and approval of PPP projects by the Investment Coordination Committee (ICC) and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board.
As a member of the ICC-Technical Working Group (TWG) the Center is undertakes an initial review of PPP projects particularly on value for money analysis, commercial viability, bankability, and financial structuring.
The Center acts as the Secretariat to the ICC-TWG and to the ICC-Cabinet Committee (CC), with the following functions:
- Document the appraisal and approval process, ensuring the compliance of Implementing Agencies with the conditions for approval set by the ICC;
- Provide feedback information to proponent agencies on the status of PPP projects reviewed and approved by the ICC-CC.
