Public-Private Partnership Center Executive Director Cosette V. Canilao presented the PPP investment opportunities in the country during the 1st Meeting of the Philippines-Switzerland Joint Economic Commission (JEC) on July 14, 2014 at the Board of Investment (BOI) Office in Makati City. The JEC is a mechanism for discussion of bilateral trade and investment opportunities and issues, including areas for economic cooperation initiatives.
In September 2012, Executive Director Canilao visited Switzerland to present the Philippine PPP Program, its frameworks and bidding process, during the ASEAN Forum in St. Gallen organized by the OSEC Swiss Business Network. The ASEAN Forum was attended by around 80 Swiss companies and focused on the various business opportunities in Southeast Asia in the infrastructure and food processing sectors.
