The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center conducted an in-person PPP orientation and workshop for the Municipal Government of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro on March 15-16, 2023 at the Seasons Hotel, Buenavista, Municipality of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro.
The discussions covered the overview of the Philippine PPP program, PPP concepts, legal frameworks, and processes under the revised 2022 Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Build-Operate-and-Transfer (BOT) Law and the Municipal Government of Sablayan’s PPP Code. Meanwhile, the workshop aimed at capacitating the participants on the processes of initial evaluation and managing unsolicited proposals based on the Municipality’s PPP code.
The PPP Center resource persons engaged for this 2-day activity were Ms. Gladys M. Yuson and Ms. Kyle Angela M. Anibigno of the Capacity Building and Knowledge Management Service, and Engr. Mary Rose N. Santillan and Engr. Trisha Marie D. Arellano of the Project Development Service.
The capacity building activity was attended by thirty (30) participants from the Municipal Government of Sablayan led by Hon. Walter B. Marquez, Municipal Mayor, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, technical officers, staff, and administrative personnel.
