The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center outlined the strategic direction of the Philippine PPP Program during the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines’ forum titled, Concrete Investments: A Look into the Philippine Infrastructure Industry, conducted on February 28, 2024, at the Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City.
In his presentation, PPP Center Deputy Executive Director and Assistant Secretary Jeffrey I. Manalo discussed the current PPP projects in the pipeline, major initiatives geared towards capacity building, and policy development, particularly the salient reforms outlined in the newly enacted Republic Act No. 11966, also known as the PPP Code of the Philippines.
During the event’s open forum, Asec. Manalo emphasized the PPP Center’s role in facilitating the PPP Program and streamlining PPP processes through the PPP Code, in relation to economic growth and attracting investments in the Philippines.
The event aims to highlight the developments in the infrastructure landscape of the Philippines to encourage and explore partnership and investment opportunities within the industry.
