The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center, together with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Infrastructure Asia, held a preliminary meeting in preparation for the upcoming Asia Infrastructure Forum (AIF) 2024 to be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Center on June 4-5, 2024.

The forum, themed “Sustainable Infrastructure: Transforming Asia’s Journey” aims to focus on the urgent need to transform the approach towards sustainable development in Asia. The Philippine government will showcase market-ready projects in various priority sectors at the AIF’s Project Discussions to solicit investors feedback and explore innovative solutions.

In attendance during the meeting were PPP Center Executive Director Ma. Cynthia C. Hernandez, Deputy Executive Director Eleazar E. Ricote, Project Development Service Director Raphael M. Badillo, and Project Development Officer Jhoel G. Jorda. DOTr Undersecretary Timothy John Batan, Infrastructure Asia Executive Director Lavan Thiru, Deputy Executive Director Devin Chan, Sheila Narendran, and Niki Sim were also present during the meeting.

The AIF serves as the platform for senior government officials, leading private investors and fund managers, financiers, developers, technology innovators, and key advisors in the infrastructure ecosystem to engage in pivot discussions surrounding the future state of infrastructure, sustainable financing, technological innovation and collaboration.
