As part of the sustained collaboration with City Government of Zamboanga, the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center conducted an orientation on PPP concepts and processes on February 9, 2023 at the Grand Astoria Hotel in Zamboanga City.
The capacity building activity aimed to inform participants about the PPP Center’s mandate, the Philippine PPP Program, its concepts and legal frameworks, and provided sample LGU PPP projects.
Moreover, the activity also covered discussions on the City Government’s local PPP Code and their PPP Selection Committee, Regulatory Authority and Technical Working Group roles and responsibilities.
Hon. Vicente “Vino” M. Guingona, SP Chairperson for the Committee on Trade and Industry, shared his gratitude with the participants and organizers of the activity. He also hopes that the initiative will bring fruitful partnerships in the future.
Meanwhile, PPP Center’s resource persons were Dir. Dionne Marga Larin and Mr. Ysrael Camacho of the Capacity Building and Knowledge Management Service and Ms. Wynona Marie Silverio of the Project Monitoring Division.
