The BOT Law IRR Committee has approved the proposed amendments to the 2022 IRR of the BOT Law on September 15, 2022.
The approved amendments are based on the written comments received from stakeholders, the inputs from stakeholders during the public consultation held on September 13, 2022, and the IRR Committee deliberations on September 15, 2022.
The Revised 2022 IRR aims to address stakeholder concerns on the financial viability and bankability of PPP projects, and address concerns about potential delays due to extra steps, rigid processes, or ambiguous provisions.
This Revised 2022 IRR shall be published in the Official Gazette or in at least 1 newspaper of general circulation, and will be effective 15 days after.
