The PPP Center, on behalf of the PPP Code IRR Committee, invites all partner stakeholders and the public to provide inputs and comments for consideration in the drafting of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 11966 or the PPP Code of the Philippines.
The PPP Code of the Philippines was signed into law on December 5, 2023, and took effect on December 23, 2023. Under the law, the IRR Committee is tasked with promulgating the Code’s IRR within 90 calendar days from its effectivity.
On January 5, 2024, the PPP Code IRR Committee convened its first meeting to green light an initial set of policies which will be subjected to a series of stakeholder consultations within the first quarter of 2024. For reference, a copy of the IRR Committee-approved set of policies may be accessed here. This deck sets forth the proposed policies on the salient features of the IRR, as approved by the IRR Committee during its 1st Committee Meeting on January 5.
