The PPP Center together with other national government agencies which include the Department of Education, Department of Finance-BLGF, Department of Transportation and Communications, Department of Social Welfare and Development signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with job matching startup Kalibrr last December 21, 2015. This partnership with Kalibrr will further increase the marketing reach and recruitment net of the five agencies.
Executive Director Cosette V. Canilao joined other national government agencies’ heads in the MOA signing event with Kalibrr Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Paul V. Rivera. held at the DepEd’s Quezon City Division. The PPP Center head stressed the valuable support of the Kalibrr in the hiring of employees of the agency.
“Since we did our pilot run on Kalibrr a few months ago and published stories and testimonials in the Bagumbayani Initiative website and facebook page, we have already managed to get more than 1,000 applications from 567 applicants into the PPP Center”, she said.
“In a span of few months, we have been able to hire three new employees and more Kalibrr applicants are now in our Selection Committee pipeline”, she added.
The Government-Kalibrr-Bagumbayani partnership launched pilot runs in May 2015 and formalized the agreement in August 2015 and December 2015.
