Water Supply Facility and Bulk Water Delivery Project

Project Description

The project aims to develop water facilities that will deliver treated bulk water (with an option to engage in the retail supply in certain areas, if necessary) in the volume of 35 million liters a day (MLD) covering specified area in Cebu Province. The said proposal will tap the surface water source from Luyang River in the Municipality of Carmen, Cebu

The Water Purchase Agreements with the prospective customers of the JICO, including but not limited to the water districts, local government unit and other water distribution utilities serving the cities of Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu, and the Municipalities of Compostela, Liloan, Consolacion and Cordova shall be secured with an active participation of the Provincial Government of Cebu parallel to the Implementation Period.
