Project Description
The Project aims to expand the current service area coverage and meet the increasing water demand of the constituents of the Province of La Union by utilizing the surface water from Baroro River.
It involves the financing, engineering design, construction, operation and maintenance of a bulk water supply system.
Project Objectives
The project aims to provide long-term solution to meet the increasing water demand of the constituents of the province by utilizing the surface water of the major river systems in La Union. Through this project, the community will be less reliant on shallow and deep well sources and will regulate groundwater extraction.
