Dasmariñas City Digitalized Traffic Enforcement System

Project Brief
Project Description

The Metro Manila Council recently approved the Metro Manila Traffic Code of 2023, which provides for the landmark Single Ticketing System (STS) and the System of Interconnectivity among government instrumentalities lawfully enforcing traffic rules and regulations. The STS will harmonize the existing national and local laws on traffic enforcement to establish effective transport and traffic management in Metro Manila. Its implementation will also help address varied procedures of apprehension, payment of fines, redemption of plates and licenses, and uncoordinated implementation of traffic laws. Under the STS, physical apprehension of traffic violators through the use of handheld devices is recognized.

In line with this, Qpax has developed a fully integrated solution for Dasmariñas City for the implementation of the STS and System of Interconnectivity. QPAX Traffic Systems Inc. (Qpax) is an IT service provider, duly recognized and authorized by the LTO to enable LGUs to interconnect with the LTO’s Land Transportation Management System (LTMS). The project is called Dasmariñas City Digitalized Traffic Enforcement, which can also be deployed in other LGUs and government agencies nationwide. The Project will be structured as a contractual joint venture, where the Qpax will develop, install, and maintain the system, equipment, and other devices for the implementation of the project in Dasmariñas City.
