Caloocan City Digitalized Traffic Enforcement

Project Brief
Project Description

The Project involves installing, operating, and maintaining Digitalized Traffic Enforcement in Caloocan City. It aims to replace the current manual traffic apprehension program with an electronic ticket issuance that uses advanced technology (including software, handheld devices, and data storage) to enforce traffic rules and regulations.

Project Objectives

The Project is envisioned as a comprehensive solution to support the implementation of the Single Ticketing System and System of Interconnectivity for LGUs, by providing Caloocan City with an IT system integrated with the Land Transportation Office's (LTO) Land Transportation Management System (LTMS). It is expected to improve road rules enforcement using handheld devices and data management software, enhance transparency to reduce corruption, validate driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations, and improve traffic flow to lower vehicle emissions.
