Project Description
The Bislig City Bulk Water Supply and Septage Project is envisioned to mitigate the risks and impact of climate change by ensuring the reliability and sustainability of water supply and access to potable water and ensure proper septage management in the City. BCWD intends to develop this Project through public-private partnership. The private sector partner shall perform the following:
- Develop new water sources;
- Construct a bulk water supply facility and its ancillary appurtenances, which shall include reservoir as water storage, and other needed water pipelines from the facilities to the main water pipelines for a specific number of years, among others;
- Establish clarifier and filtration gallery to improve the quality of water supply;
- Construct of septage treatment facilities to treat wastewater in compliance with the existing government policies;
- Finance, operate, and maintain the entire Project.
