Project Description

The Project concept is for the operation and management of the Aquilino Q. Pimentel Jr. International Convention Center (APICC) as a premier sports and special events venue.

Project Objectives

The Project aims to to 1) assist TIEZA and stop the "bleeding" as APICC is currently non-operational and requires continuous financial support from TIEZA to maintain the facility, 2) preserve APICC through its proper operations and maintenance, and 3) provide Cagayan De Oro (CDO) and neighboring communities (e.g., Bukidnon, Iligan, etc.) with a "modern" and sizeable venue for sports events, entertainment, conventions and other special events.
