Public-Private Partnership Center

Orientation on the Fundamentals of Unsolicited PPP Projects for the Private Sector

Rationale:

Implementing agencies (IAs) have received a significant number of unsolicited project proposals from the private sector. With the intention to better support IAs in pursuing unsolicited PPPs, the PPP Center deems it appropriate to conduct an Orientation on Unsolicited Proposals for the Private Sector which aims to address the concern of the IAs on bridging the knowledge gaps of the private sector in submitting unsolicited proposals.

Objectives:

At the end of the orientation, participants shall be able to:

  1. Recognize the PPP Center and its role as the monitoring and facilitating arm of PPP projects in the Philippines;
  2. Recall PPPs and its related concepts relative to the Philippine experience;
  3. Determine the legal and regulatory framework for PPP implementation;
  4. Identify the PPP project stages in the unsolicited track; and
  5. Identify the elements of a complete unsolicited project proposal including the basic components of PPP project study and basic provisions in a draft PPP contract.
