The PDMF Total Contribution amounts to 98.766 million US Dollars. This consists of 83.93 million US Dollars from the Government of the Philippines, 14.43 million US Dollars from Government of Australia, and .41 million US Dollars from the Urban Climate Change Resilience Trust Fund (UCCRTF).
Out of the PDMF Contributions, 58.01 million US dollars were utilized for consulting contracts procured through the PDMF resulting an average of 59% fund utilization rate.
To sustain the revolving nature of the PDMF, costs charged to the PDMF Funds are recovered plus a 10% cost recovery fee. Of the 58.01 million US dollars utilized for consulting contracts, 66% or 38.22 million US dollars has been recovered.
The earmarked amount represents the total amount of approved PDMF support for PPP projects. It includes projects with approved PDMF support with corresponding signed Technical Assistance Agreement between the PPP Center and the IA, and variation of consulting contracts with cost implication, as applicable.
With the current Administration’s support to the PPP Program and the enactment of RA 11966 or the PPP Code of the Philippines in December 2023, there has been an increased interest from implementing agencies to tap the PDMF to support the development and implementation of their PPP projects.
The PDMF has been utilized to support PPP project from various sectors such as transport, water, information technology, health, energy, justice and security, property development, agriculture, and education.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), and Department of Health (DOH) are among the national agencies that have availed of the PDMF support for their PPP Projects.
