The Regional Orientation-Workshop on PPPs: Joint Venture Arrangements for Visayas LGUs was held last November 12 to 14, 2018 at the Quest Hotel and Conference Center, Cebu City. Participants were welcomed by NEDA Region VII Director Efren B. Carreon.
This activity is part of PPP Center’s Local PPP Strategy which is a specialized assistance program for implementing agencies including local government units (LGUs), with the goal to improve skills through capacity building and to assist in the development and management of PPP projects implemented through Joint Venture Arrangements (JVAs).
The regional roll out was attended by local governments of 1) Buenavista, Province of Guimaras; 2) Dalaguete, Province of Cebu; 3) Dumaguete City; 4) Province of Negros Oriental; 5) Tuburan, Province of Cebu; 6) Province of Cebu; 7) Ormoc City; and 8) Province of Southern Leyte. Representatives from the NEDA Regional Office VII and NEDA Regional Office VIII were also among the participants.
