The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center held an orientation on PPP concepts and processes for the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur on July 28, 2022 via Zoom.
The online capacity building activity included discussions on the Philippine PPP Program, its concepts and legal frameworks, overview of the PPP processes under the BOT Law and its IRR, local PPP/JV Code guiding principles and prescribed elements, and renewable energy (RE) PPP projects to guide the province on its initial project preparation for their proposed hydro-electric power plant.
Provincial Administrator Joefe P. Suson, together with the engineer, legal officer and staff, and the population program officer of the province were among the participants.
