The PPP Center’s Online Capacity Building Activity (OCBA) on Project Concept Note (PCN) Development, which aimed to guide the participants in the preparation of sound and viable PPP projects, was done through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning methodologies from May 19-28, 2021.
The OCBA was attended by 30 participants, coming from 12 local government units (LGUs) and an attendee from the House of Representatives. Out the 12 participating LGUs, six (6) LGUs submitted and presented their PCN outputs. These are the City Government of Davao (Times Beach Esplanade Project), Municipality of Tolosa, Leyte (Bamboo Oxygen Park), Provincial Government of Bataan (Colonnade at the Capitol), Provincial Government of Davao del Norte (Convention Center-Green Commercial Center and IT Park), Provincial Government of Dinagat Islands (Potable Water Supply Project), and the City Government of Balanga, Bataan (Construction of Multi-level Parking Building near Plaza Mayor de Balanga).
The City Government of Davao’s Times Beach Esplanade Project, and the Provincial Government of Dinagat Island’s Potable Water Supply Project were chosen as the best PCNs, based on the written PCNs submitted and corresponding presentations.
