The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center gathered its partner agencies and institutions from all over the country to a hybrid event titled Partners’ Assembly: Spill the TEA (Training Events and Activities) held on February 17, 2023 at the PPP Center Board Room and via the Zoom platform.

The event aimed to present the Center’s capacity building program and promote the Center’s programmed capacity building activities (CBAs) for 2023. Moreover, it served as an avenue for the PPPC and its partner agencies to share and harmonize their upcoming PPP-related TEAs for the year.

Assistant Director Dionne Marga M. Larin of the PPPC’s Capacity Building and Knowledge Management Service (CBKMS) presented the Center’s capacity building framework, 2023 programmed CBAs, and current and upcoming capacity building initiatives.

Mr. Agape Sem B. Comendador, OIC-Division Chief of the Center’s Capacity Building Division, shared the 2023 upcoming PPP-related TEAs based on the submissions of the participating partner agencies and institutions. The TEAs were further classified and lessons learned and proposed next steps in processing the incoming requests were provided by the PPP Center, for discussion with the attending agencies.

A plenary discussion was also conducted during the event that encouraged an exchange of ideas and recommendations between the Center’s senior officials and the participants on capacity building initiatives and future PPP collaborations.

The hybrid event was attended by around 70 participants, which were composed of senior officials and technical personnel from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Agriculture (DA), Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA), Board of Investments (BOI), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Tourism (DOT), League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP), Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), and National Economic and Development (NEDA) Regional Offices, as well as representatives from PPPC’s Project Development Service (PDS), Legal Service (LS), Policy Formulation, Project Evaluation and Monitoring Service (PFPEMS), and Project Development and Monitoring Facility Service (PDMFS). Also, Dr. Maria Francia Miciano – Laxamana, MHSA, CHS Undersecretary of Health was present during the event.
