PPP Center rolls out online capacity building activity on Introduction to PPP Feasibility Study

The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center conducted the first run of its online capacity building activity (OCBA) titled Introduction to PPP Feasibility Study on December 12-13, 2022, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, via Zoom.

The OCBA sought to familiarize the participants with the components, documentary requirements, and procedures in the preparation of a PPP feasibility study, which will help implementing agencies (IAs) appreciate the value and importance of preparing and reviewing such documents.

Around 60 participants coming from National Government Agencies, Government-Owned-and-Controlled Corporations, and Local Government Units attended the activity. These IAs include the Department of Agriculture, Department of Health, Department of Transportation, Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority, Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System, Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Cagayan Economic Zone Authority, Provincial Governments of Davao del Norte, Albay, Negros Occidental, and Bataan, and the City Government of General Santos. The participating IAs have successfully completed the PPP Center’s project concept note development workshop prior to attending the OCBA.

PPP Center resource persons who were tapped for this OCBA include Ms. Imari Kate Galvez and Engr. Norman Audric Castro of the Project Development Service, and Mr. Georg Anthony Veloso, Ms. Camila Buduan and Ms. Silahis Frida Corpuz of the Project Evaluation Division.

The conduct of the Introduction to PPP Feasibility Study concludes the PPP Center’s 15 programmed CBAs for the year.
