PPP Center orients DAP-LGEMC scholars on financing through PPPs

The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center conducted an orientation on financing development projects through PPPs for the online program of the Local Government Executives and Managers Class (LGEMC) scholars of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) on March 24, 2021.

Director Feroisa Francisca T. Concordia of the Center’s Capacity Building and Knowledge Management Service served as one of the resource speakers of the program’s module on Managing Projects for Local Development and discussed PPP concepts and processes. The activity is part of a 5-month online training program for local government managers under the LGEMC which started in December 2020.

The DAP-LGEMC scholars are from the local government units of Bani, Pangasinan; Barbaza, Antique; Burgos, Isabela; Camalaniugan, Cagayan; Carmona, Cavite; Dingalan, Aurora; Dolores, Quezon; San Antonio, Zambales; San Roque, Northern Samar; Sta. Teresita, Cagayan; and Taytay, Rizal.

The DAP module seeks to enable its scholars to understand the nuances of development projects and acquire skills in designing, implementing, and monitoring and evaluation of development programs and projects.
