The PPP Center offered its first online capacity building activity on Project Manager’s Training on Developing PPP Tender Documents held last August 23-24, 2021 via MS Teams.

Around 70 participants, composed of engineers, port and division managers, procurement officers, lawyers, and project development and evaluation officers, are welcomed by the PPP Center from various implementing agencies namely: Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH); Philippine Ports Authority (PPA); Department of National Defense – Government Arsenal (DND-GA); Department of Health (DOH); University of the Philippines Systems – Diliman; University of the Philippines – Los Baños; Bislig City Water District; Camarines Norte Water District; Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA); Provincial Government of Davao del Norte; City Governments of Tagum, Cagayan de Oro, Pasig, and Quezon; Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA); and Department of Transportation (DOTr).

This 2-day activity covered topics such as the objectives, scope and guidelines for the procurement process, the composition and role of the PPP Pre-Qualification Bids and Awards Committee (PBAC) / JV Selection Committee, drafting the PPP tender documents, crafting qualification requirements and the evaluation process, and drafting PPP contracts.
