The PPP Center delivered an orientation on the PPP Concepts on Processes for the Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) on May 23-24, 2022 at The Bayleaf Cavite.
The ten (10) participants were composed of the members of the PGC’s PPP Selection Committee (PPP-SC) led by Provincial Administrator and PPP-SC Chairperson Renato A. Abutan.
The PPP Center’s resource speakers were Director Feroisa Francisca T. Concordia and Ms. Gladys Yuson from the Capacity Building and Knowledge Management Service, and Atty. Rochelle Marie S. Sarsosa from the Legal Service.
In the two-day face-to-face training, the resource speakers discussed the Philippine PPP Program, PPP concepts and legal frameworks, overview of PPP processes, Joint Venture (JV) concepts, JV arrangements under the PPP Code of PGC, best practices in LGU JVs, and drafting of PPP tender documents. The Chairperson of the PPP-SC Secretariat, Ms. Nancy Q. Lontoc, also provided a brief overview of the PGC’s JV PPP projects.
