The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center conducted the PPP Project Concept Note (PCN) Development Workshop on October 18-29, 2021. The two-week webinar, attended by 42 participants from 12 government agencies, was conducted to guide implementing agencies in crafting PCNs, which is vital in the preparation of sound and viable PPP projects.

The PPP PCN Development Workshop was delivered through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning methodologies. These included lectures and consultation periods with PPP Center resource persons; preparation of writing assignments; and feedback session to enhance the workshop outputs.

Among the workshop outputs presented were the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Environmental Management Bureau Region 3’s Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Network Project; Davao del Norte Provincial Government’s Development and Operations of the Davao del Norte Integrated Sanitary Landfill; Department of Public Works and Highways PPP Service’s Naic-Tagaytay-Nasugbu Expressway Project; National Economic and Development Authority Regional Office 2’s Metro Tuguegarao Integrated Solid Waste Management Project; and the Leganes Municipal Government’s Bagsakan Business Center and Terminal Project.

As the main driver of the PPP Program, the PPP Center serves as the central coordinating and monitoring agency for all PPP projects in the Philippines. It provides implementing agencies with technical advisory and capacity building assistance to help realize their proposed PPP projects.
