The PPP Center reiterated its commitment to support Local Government Units (LGUs) meet their infrastructure aspirations despite the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion was held as part of its PPP Center Response to the New Normal: An Introduction to Philippine PPPs lecture delivered during the Newly Elected Officials – Webinar Executive Session of the Local Government Academy held last March 29, 2021 via Zoom.
At least 273 Local Chief Executives, officials and staff from 128 LGUs attended the webinar, which also emphasized the Center’s continued refinement of its technical and capacity building services to address the changing needs of LGUs during the pandemic.
