PPPC, ADB, and LRTA Knowledge Sharing Session on Monitoring and Managing Key Performance Indicators of Light Rail Transit Systems

In cooperation with Asian Development Bank’s provision of technical assistance and Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), the PPP Center conducted a Knowledge Sharing Session (KSS) on Monitoring and Managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of Light Rail Transit (LRT) Systems held on March 29-30, 2021 via MS Teams.

This activity aims to provide the participants with the knowledge on monitoring and managing KPIs of LRT systems with reference to the Concession Agreement of the Manila LRT1 Extension, Operations and Maintenance Project.

The one hundred twenty-one (121) participants of this two-day activity are composed of officers and personnel of LRTA’s Concession Agreement Management Team; and representatives from the Department of Transportation (DOTr), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA); Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH); and PPP Center.

The online KSS covered discussions on Understanding the Fundamentals of Urban Transportation and Role of LRT, Elements of Light Rail Transit Systems, PPP Performance Management and Control, and LRTA’s KPI Manual Analysis.
