The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center conducted a PPP 101: Orientation on PPP Concepts and Processes for the Municipal Government of Alfonso, Cavite on July 7, 2022.
The capacity building activity aimed to enable the municipal government officials to: 1) recognize the Philippine PPP Program and relevant PPP Concepts; 2) determine the appropriate legal framework and suitable process in implementing PPP projects; and, 3) understand the PPP Center’s mandate and scope of assistance. The activity was also in-line with the municipal government’s preparation for the possible development of a municipal slaughterhouse via the PPP route.
Among of the participants were department heads from the Municipal Planning and Development Office, Budget Office, Treasurer’s Office, Human Resources Management Office, Agriculture Office, Engineering Office, the Municipal Bids and Awards Committee, and representatives from the Municipal Administrator’s Office.
The training was facilitated by the Capacity Building and Knowledge Management Service (CBKMS) led by OIC -Director III Dionne Marga M. Larin, together with the CBKMS’ training specialists.
