Megawide World Citi Consortium emerged as the lone bidder for the country’s first health project under the Public-Private partnership scheme— the Modernization of the Philippine Orthopedic Center (MPOC). Project Bids and Awards Committee Chair Undersecretary Teodoro Herbosa checked the submitted documents and declared the submission as complete. DOH’s Technical Working Group for the MPOC will then evaluate the qualification documents and findings of the evaluation will be released by then PBAC next week. If all requirements are met, the TWG will proceed with the evaluation the technical and financial bids of Megawide World Citi Consortium.

The MPOC is part of government’s universal health care program aimed at addressing the needs of the poorest of the poor.
