The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center and the Provincial Government of Sorsogon signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to institutionalize their cooperation for the development and implementation of much needed infrastructure and development projects in the province through PPP.
Governor Francis Joseph “Chiz” Escudero and PPP Center Executive Director Ferdinand A. Pecson signed the agreement which outlines the technical assistance that will be provided by the PPP Center for the province’s PPP projects.
The Provincial Government of Sorsogon is presently drafting a Provincial PPP Code which will serve as the framework for private sector participation through PPPs.
The priority projects identified include the Sorsogon Business Park and the Sorsogon Capitol Commercial and Techno Hub projects for potential PPP implementation. For more information about the programs and plans of the Province, visit https://www.sorsogon.gov.ph/.
