Around 160 participants from 65 local government units nationwide attended the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center’s Introductory Course on Joint Venture (JV) Agreements from June 21-25, 2021.

The week-long online capacity building activity was implemented through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning methodologies. Three live webinars were held via the Microsoft Teams platform and covered topics such as JV Concepts, PPP code elements, legal framework of LGU JV projects, JV Process, and sample JV projects. In between the webinars, the participants, comprised of LGU officials and staff engaged in the preparation and development of PPP projects, were allowed two days of self-study to review the lectures and work on the course requirements.

The second Introductory Course on JV Agreements for LGUs is scheduled on November 15-19, 2021.
