The City of Koronadal ICT Project is one of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects being implemented by the local government unit (LGU) in partnership with Geodata Solutions, Inc.
The project uses a Build-Operate-and-Transfer scheme that involves financing, systems design and development, installation, testing, commissioning and O&M of automated major revenue generating services of Koronadal City. This also includes the creation of database, systems maintenance and upgrading, and training of concerned LGU personnel.
Through this project, the LGU was able to strengthen financial foundation and independence by way of efficient and effective generation of revenues, delivery of services through automation of major revenue generating services, effective and efficient collection of taxes and fees, transparency in administrative affairs and resource management and support for improved government planning and management. The concession period was concluded last July 2013. It is currently operated and maintained by the LGU.
