As part of its mandate to champion PPPs in the Philippines, the PPP Center strategically implements its capacity building program by enabling and empowering various implementing agencies (IAs) and the private sector to undertake viable PPP projects, and other stakeholders to participate in the PPP process through targeted and customized trainings.
The PPP Center’s Capacity Building Division (CBD) employs various training modalities for its capacity building activities (CBAs) such as in-person and hybrid trainings and workshops, online capacity building activities (OCBAs), and self-paced e-Learning modules.
In the previous year, the PPP Center Training Calendar featured a series of Introductory Courses on Republic Act No. 11966 or the PPP Code of the Philippines and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) aimed at the widest dissemination of information regarding the new PPP legal framework and updated PPP processes and documentary requirements.
This year, the roster of CBAs intends to capacitate IAs and relevant stakeholders further on the project development and review and approval stages of the PPP process based on the PPP Code and its IRR, existing National Economic and Development Authority – Investment Coordination Committee (NEDA-ICC) issuances, and relevant PPP Governing Board guidelines.
These CBAs are *free of charge* but participants are required to accomplish the registration forms and other training requirements. Some CBAs will require participants to accomplish outputs.
