Road Transport Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Project (Phase II)

The project involves the upgrade of existing IT infrastructure of the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB), including: (a) computerization of its manual processes; (b) development of an online database of franchise information; (c) data migration; and (d) procurement, installation, operations and management of IT hardware equipment, software and network development.
The project aims to deliver a transparent and efficient franchising system through streamlining of LTFRB’s current processes and automation. It is expected to clean up existing data; enhance data collection, processing and integration within LTFRB and its related agencies; decrease processing time; promote transparency and ease of use; and improve access to public information and channels for feedback.
