Project Description

This is a variation of a project under implementation. The Metro Rail Transit Line 7 (MRT 7) Project is comprised of the 23-kilometer railway line with 14 stations from San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan to North Avenue in Quezon City and the 22-kilometer asphalt road from Bocaue Interchange of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) to the intermodal terminal in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. Original project cost is PhP 77 billion.

Below are the proposed Variation Orders for the MRT-7 Project:

  1. Construction of MRT-7: (a) Redesign and Relocation of Common Station (Sta. 1 – North Avenue); (b) Tandang Sora Related Works; (c) Relocation of Pocket Track from Station 3 (University Avenue) to Station 4 (Tandang Sora); (d) Relocation and Redesign of Station 12 (Sacred Heart); (e) Station 5 (Don Antonio) with Elevated Guideway; (f) Passenger Support Facilities; (g) Conversion from Ballasted to Non-Ballasted Track; (h) Relocation of Station 13 (Tala), Station 14 (San Jose Del Monte), Depot, and ITT; (i) West Avenue Turnback
  2. Increase in Right-of-Way Requirements
  3. Compliance with the Real Estate Development Commitments (REDC)
