The CRS-ITP2 will involve the computerization of the civil registry operations of the PSA and is designed to collect, access, store, maintain and manage civil registry documents and the specimen signatures of all city and municipal registrars using imaging technology. The CRS-ITP2 will also include production of vital statistics and make the civil registry services available nationwide through the CRS outlets and other authorized partners. The CRS-ITP2 will also include the construction of a building that will house the servers of the information technology system.

Operational - Central outlet operations officially transferred from Sta. Mesa, Manila location to the CRS Building on April 01, 2019.
Go-live for the new CRS IT system in Muntinlupa City commenced on January 14, 2020. Ongoing preparation for the go-live of the40 CRS outlets.
CRS-ITP2 services in CRS outlets are temporarily suspended in areas classified as enhanced community quarantine. Services in CRS outlets in areas under general community quarantine have resumed operations. Online application of CRS services has also resumed operations.
