Kalibrr Ventures Inc., a Philippine-based job-matching technology startup, recently sealed an agreement to help the recruitment efforts of five government agencies.
The Public Private Partnership Center, the Department of Education, Department of Finance-Bureau of Local Government Finance, Department of Transportation and Communications and the Department of Social Welfare and Development signed the memorandum of agreement with Kalibrr last week.
“This partnership with Kalibrr will further increase the marketing reach and recruitment net of the five agencies,” the PPP Center said.
“Since we did our pilot run on Kalibrr a few months ago and published stories and testimonials in the Bagumbayani Initiative website and Facebook page, we have already managed to get more than 1,000 applications from 567 applicants into the PPP Center,” PPP Center executive director Cosette Canilao said in a statement. The Bagumbayani Initiative is a program by young public servants that aim to recruit the youth into the civil service.
“In a span of a few months, we have been able to hire three new employees and more Kalibrr applicants are now in our selection committee pipeline,” she said.
Kalibrr differentiates itself from rivals with its skills assessment platform, which allows employers to determine a particular candidate’s skills set in over 50 industry-validated assessments. Kalibrr said this significantly cuts screening time for companies.
Kalibrr is led by entrepreneurs Paul Rivera as chief executive officer and Dexter Ligot-Gordon as chief operating offer.
