The first-ever landport in the Philippines, Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), will start full operations in November this year, Megawide announced on Monday.

Megawide said that the integrated transport terminal will have a capacity of 200,000 passengers daily with separate levels for arrivals, departures, and private parking areas.

“PITX aims to provide seamless interconnectivity of the different modes of transportation from the neighboring provinces south of Metro Manila to ensure a safe, convenient, and hassle-free travel experience for the commuting public,” Megawide stated.

Transport options are buses, taxis, jeepneys, and AUVs.

The PITX features waiting areas, automated boarding pass scanners, bus bays and electronic ticketing counters. Pay lounges for prayer, breastfeeding, and shower rooms will also be provided by the terminal.

Another highlight of the PITX is the 4 office-grade towers that will offer 24/7 transport security. The first tower is set to open in the first half of 2019.
