AF Payments Inc., the operator of automated fare collection system beep, has partnered with BPI to allow users to reload their beep cards via Internet and mobile.
Users simply have to access BPI Online or download and update their BPI Mobile app and log in to their accounts. Then, they have to choose the load e-wallet option under the payments or load tab.
After that, they have to input the 16-digit number found at the back of their beep cards in the reference number and click on “load amount.”
However, users have to update their card balances at transport stations, and pay a P10 transaction fee.
“Convenience is the key benefit we emphasize for beep. As Filipinos become more mobile and increasingly go cashless, we see more opportunities to make our services more accessible to our cardholders,” Agnes Padilla, who heads the marketing division of AF Payments, said.
