2023 Capacity Building Activities

As part of its mandate to champion PPPs in the Philippines, the PPP Center strategically implements its capacity building program by enabling and empowering various implementing agencies and other stakeholders to undertake viable PPP projects through targeted and customized trainings.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the PPP Center, as the main driver of the implementation of the country’s PPP program, continues to deliver capacity building activities to implementing agencies (IAs) and other stakeholders.

Metro Manila currently remains under Alert Level 1 classification of the Inter-Agency Task Force of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) Guidelines (latest as of June 4, 2022). This allows the conduct of select in-person capacity building activities, provided that physical distancing and health protocols shall be followed and implemented.

Apart from in-person capacity building activities (CBAs), the Capacity Building Division (CBD) also employs other training modalities for its trainings such as webinars, online capacity building activities (OCBAs), hybrid trainings, and self-paced e-Learning modules.

These CBAs are free of charge but participants are required to accomplish the registration forms. Some CBAs will require participants to accomplish outputs.
