Today marks an important milestone in the PPP Program as we formally sign our partnership agreement with you, our local capacity building partners, as part of our enhanced strategy for local government units.
This partnership is one of our thrusts to develop, strengthen, and sustain the institutional capacities of local government units (LGUs) to pursue PPP projects. With this, we also endeavor to foster stronger partnerships with local governments.
Apart from developing national government projects, the PPP Center aims to develop sustainable projects in the local level. You, our partners, will help us achieve our goal of inclusive growth for the Filipino people by assisting the LGUs in delivering critical infrastructure projects in their jurisdiction.
Following this momentous occasion, we look forward to level off expectations, discuss subsequent training workshops, and ultimately, jumpstarting the training for LGUs to help them pursue their PPP projects.
At this point, allow me to thank you on behalf of the PPP Center, for accepting this challenge and for the huge potential contribution you will be imparting to our colleagues in the local government.
Rest assured that the PPP Center, most especially our Capacity Building Division, will always be of help if there is anything you need.
