The PPP Center in cooperation with JICA conducted a field study visit at the Baguio Sewerage Treatment Plant (BSTP) located in Barangay North Sanitary Camp, Baguio City as part of the Capacity Development Training Roll-out for the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) held on January 18-20, 2017 at Hotel Veniz.
The City Environment and Parks Management Office (CEPMO) provided an overview of the waste water management and sewerage system in Baguio City while the DPWH discussed the National Sewerage and Septage Management Program (NSSMP). The participants had the opportunity to discuss possible PPP options for sewerage and septage infrastructure development for Baguio City.
The JICA Expert Team led by Hidefumi Takahashi and Yuta Kumo from Deloitte-Tomatsu Financial Advisory LLC, and Juan Paulo Fajardo facilitated the activity in coordination with PPP Center’s Capacity Building and Knowledge Management Service (CBKMS) and Project Development Service (PDS).
