Integrated Luzon Railway Project


Project Description

The proposed project aims to rehabilitate and upgrade the PNR railway systems, including extending the existing line and revive the freight operations through railways, in support of DOTC’s objective to provide transport alternative that is convenient, affordable and environment friendly.

The project will cover the entire PNR Mainline North (i.e., Manila-La Union), including the branch line from Tarlac to San Jose, Nueva Ecija, as well as a possible extension line going to Cagayan; and the Mainline South (i.e., Manila-Legaspi City), including the branch line from Calamba City to Batangas City.

Manila-Makati-Pasay Paranaque (MMPP) Mass Transit System


Project Description

The project involves establishment of a mass transport system (MTS) that will provide interconnection among Makati – Manila CCP Complex-Manila Bay areas.

The proposed alignment of the aforementioned MTS is from the C5-32nd Street roadway to EDSA-Buendia-Makati Avenue-Ayala Triangle-Buendia roads crossing PNR Buendia Station, LRT 1 Buendia Station to CCP Complex and Mall of Asia to EDSA Ayala to complete the loop up to Makati Ayala Triangle.

Regional Prison Facilities through Public-Private Partnership (RPF-PPP)


Project Description

The Project will comprise “Phase I” (prison complexes for Central Luzon and Western Visayas) of the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) plan to regionalize prison systems in the country consistent with the Bureau of Corrections’ (BuCor) rebuilding plan. It will entail relocation of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) and the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) from their current sites to another. This will involve the construction of about 25,000-capacity prison complexes with accompanying support facilities that will provide adequate living spaces, facilities and basic needs for the inmates.

Plaridel Bypass Toll Road


Project Description

The project entails conversion of the Plaridel Bypass road into a toll road. It covers road expansion; and construction of additional interchanges, flyovers, toll plazas and other miscellaneous works.

The Plaridel Bypass Road is a 24.61 km-road starting at the Balagtas interchange in North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) up to San Rafael. It traverses 5 Bulacan municipalities, namely: Balagtas, Guiguinto, Plaridel, Bustos, and San Rafael.

Batangas-Manila Natural Gas Pipeline Project 1 (BatMan 1)


Project Description

BatMan I is the first of a planned series of network pipelines to be built in Luzon, forming part of the master plan to develop the (natural) gas economy of the country. It aims to transport and supply natural gas to targeted markets located in the high-growth areas of Batangas, Laguna, Cavite and eventually to Metro Manila.

The project involves, but not limited to, construction of approximately 105 km of transmission pipelines; installation of compressor stations, metering stations, valves as well as control stations and SCADA systems; and construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) receiving plant.
