PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
The Division Chief should have a least a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. He/ she must have at least four years supervisory experience in the field of project management, transaction advisory and finance, with at least five years professional experience mainly in project management and relevant experience on project finance. He/she must also have supervisory and technical training, preferably in the field of project management and finance.
The Division Chief will support the Director of the Project Development Service (PDS) and directly report to the Director III of the PDS. He/she will head the infrastructure division engaged in project development and management. Aside from the supervisory duties of a division chief as mandated by law, he/she will have the following responsibilities: (i) review the outputs of the Project Development Officers on project development, project review and evaluation, and act as oversight to the work of the Infrastructure Division assigned to him/her; (ii) mentor PDSÂ project officers on a day-to-day basis on strategic project management, as well as preparation and structuring of PPP projects;(iii) along with the PDS staff, provide assistance to Implementing Agencies in the bidding processas directed by superior/s; (iv) communicate status changes with regards to project details to the Director.
