The Investment Coordination Committee–Cabinet Committee will review five more projects on its first meeting for the year, National Economic and Development Authority deputy director general Ronaldo Tungpalan said Tuesday.

Tungpalan, at the sidelines of an event in Makati City, identified the five projects as the expansion of the The Tarlac–Pangasinan–La Union Expressway, motor vehicle inspection, the LRT Line 2 extension A (West), the Bonifacio-Makati Loop, and the loan from the Austrian government to purchase fire trucks.

“It’s difficult to say how many exactly we will be able to discuss, but those were in the agenda, “Tungpalan told reporters.

The Private-Public Partnership Center late last year announced eight projects up for review of the committee.

PPP Center executive director Cosette Canilao said once the projects had been discussed by the ICC-Cab-Comm, they will be rolled out in the first semester or second quarter of the year.

“Once we [are] clear [with] the ICC-Cab-Comm, we will bid them out,” Canilao said.

Earlier, the government approved the P400-million Tanauan City public market redevelopment project under the public-private partnership program.
